My Fellow Elks, Ladies and
Friends,
The ritual
contest is over, now we can relax a little. I want to thank the Lodge officers
for all their hard work and dedication that enabled Monterey to take 4th
place overall in the District. Our Esquire, Venita Brazier took first place -
as always a fine job. Congratulations to all the Officers for and outstanding
job.
June 18th we
celebrate Flag Day here at the Lodge. We are Fortunate to have the Seaside High
School ROTC participate in this beautiful ceremony. Please save the date and
join us in honoring our flag.
It’s time for Steak
Night on June 20th. If you were here for the first one you know what
a great evening it was and Angela Cardinalli and her crew are planning another
successful evening. Be sure to get your reservation in early.
On June 27th we
will have the honor of hosting our State Vice President, Steve Mayne. Our
Officers and Committee Chairman should attend the meeting and all are invited
to join us for the dinner following. This is a good time to meet and greet the
State Officials and Committee Chairman of our Lodge.
I will have a report on State Conventions in July. I look forward to
seeing you at Lodge meeting and social events.
