The Crying Towel & Drawing
The "Crying Towel" and "50/50 Drawing" will be held in the Lodge Room, on Lodge meeting nights.
The Crying Towel: At the end of the Lodge Meeting, the Exalted Ruler will draw from a bowl containing the membership numbers of every Lodge member. If that member is present, he will win the "jack-pot".
The 50/50 Drawing: Tickets will be sold on meeting nights at the bar, in the dining room during dinner and at the entrance to the Lodge Room until about 7:20pm. At the end of the Lodge Meeting, the Exalted Ruler will draw one ticket from a bowl. If that member, is present he will win half of the amount of tickets sold, that day.
The Crying Towel Jack-Pot: The Crying Towel Jack-Pot will continue to grow until someone wins. The other half of the 50/50 Drawing will be added to the Crying Towel Jack-Pot, causing the Jack-Pot to increase every meeting. The minimum Crying Towel Jack-Pot will be one hundred dollars.
Winners of the Crying Towel who were NOT present at Lodge meetings, will have their names published in the Contact.
So you see, it PAYS to attend Lodge Meetings!
